Message thought I would pass along this info for those of you living in the great state of Kalifornia.

two years ago here are the maximum allowable limits (for a 91 tt);

15 mph HC 108 ppm CO% .71 NO 767 ppm
25 mph HC 83 ppm CO% .58 NO 706 ppm

This year, I found new standards;

15 mph HC 76ppm CO% .50 NO 537 ppm
25 mph HC 58 ppm CO% .40 NO 494 ppm

Yes, I failed and would have passed if the "standards" were the same as two years ago. I pass this on in case you dont know how testing works in KALI.

the "standards" are not written in a book or chart, they are manipulated by someone in sacramento, and then loaded into the smog test equipment software.

So, just cuz you passed with your egr delete last year, you may not next year! BTW, my car was tested in stock form, even stock air filter, new injectors and ( I thought) running perfectly.

Happy holidays.
